About
I attended public, private, and homeschool. I married a homeschooler. We started homeschooling our kid until mid-2nd grade. I was a building substitute teacher at her school for her 4th grade year. And now, we are back! We homeschool and I tutor. I have also started a Teachers Pay Teachers Store.
Mission
My goal is to help close the gaps in a system that is broken. Brain Sparks helps bring back spelling, vocabulary expansion, and handwriting. Wonder Quest explores the adventures within books. The purpose of Crest Peaks Academy is to travel the Crest from one peak to the next, knowing there is always an out of reach summit.
Vision
The play-to-learn theory forms sparks of curiosity and eventually becomes active, practical project and research based studies. I encourage reading, both academic, pleasure, and current events. And I encourage handwriting, spelling, and vocabulary practice.
